The Boles Fire District does not issue permits for open burning; instead, our ordinances adopt the rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

The Fire Marshal of the Boles Fire Protection District may ban burning within the district at any time if it is determined that a hazardous condition exists.
